Product imagery has become the launch bottleneck.

Anyone selling physical product depends on imagery to sell before the customer can touch the item. Yet producing imagery is expensive, slow and centralized: one studio cycle per collection, a queue that doesn't fit the calendar, and one photo per SKU that serves every channel or none. Out in the field, the store improvises with phone photos, off-brand. CWS Platform treats imagery as what it actually is in the operation, a commercial asset that must be produced at scale and governed, not artisanal work repeated at every launch.

Who it's for

Manufacturers and retail chains with a large catalog and collection turnover, distributing to owned stores, franchises or resellers.

Core pain

Hundreds of SKUs without quality imagery on launch day, and a field that promotes however it can, off-brand.

What changes

The product photo stops being the finished material and becomes the base asset. From it, the Catalog Enrichment Agent generates the professional image, the product record and the publication per SKU, in a 7-step pipeline. Context becomes a decision for whoever is selling, not for whoever took the photo: the same product appears in the scene, the format and the visual language each channel, each region and each customer asks for. And because the image is born attached to the SKU in the catalog, it can be regenerated in batches and corrected everywhere it has already appeared.

Two operating modes, one brand in command

This is not a choice between control and speed. Headquarters produces volume and the field produces context, on the same asset library and the same rules.

Centralized

Headquarters produces at scale

  • Ingest the assets you already have: product photos, records and spreadsheets, through the platform or by API
  • Large batches, with the same SKU across multiple contexts, formats and catalogs
  • Distribution to stores, franchises, resellers and channels from a single asset bank
  • Batch reprocessing when the season, the campaign or the positioning changes

Decentralized

The field produces on a phone

  • The seller photographs the item in the store and generates the image on the spot, with no marketing team
  • Customer or customer-group context: style, occasion, region
  • A PDF catalog per customer or per group, shared straight to WhatsApp
  • Always within brand rules: official library, templates and review defined by headquarters

Where it turns into sales

One product, many contexts

The same SKU across different scenes and audiences, in every format the channel demands. Catalogs by store type, by region or by buyer profile, without producing from scratch each time.

The seller as a content producer

A photo in the store, the customer's context, the image generated and sent over WhatsApp in minutes. The customer base is activated by whoever already serves it, with on-brand material.

Presence across channels and social

The item of the week in feed and story formats, varying by store and region, plus the formats each sales channel demands of the same approved asset.

Service level for the reseller network

The manufacturer opens the approved image bank to resellers, who generate variations in their own context within what the brand allows. The small reseller finally has on-brand material.

The governance that separates industrial AI from experimental AI

Generating one good-looking image is easy. The hard part is generating thousands while keeping the product faithful and the brand recognizable, with thousands of points producing at once. It is the same principle that governs the platform's AI Agents: the AI orchestrates the journey, and the deterministic core guarantees the truth of what is being sold.

The product record is the contract

The official record defines what the image may and may not show. The scene is generated; the product stays faithful.

Official library and templates

Scenes, typography, colors and sign-off approved by the brand. The field picks from options; it doesn't invent them.

Human review by authority level

What a store publishes on its own and what goes through headquarters is configuration, not convention. Approval where the risk calls for it.

Provenance for every asset

Origin, version, derivations and where each image was used. That is what makes regeneration and propagation controllable.

In operation

In apparel wholesale, this capability is live in the MayaApp CDC, the white-label mobile app built by CWS Platform for the small retailers of the Circuito de Compras, in the Brás district of São Paulo. The retailer photographs the product on a phone, the CWS Platform AI agent builds the record and the imagery, and the app generates a personalized PDF catalog, with the store's theme, cover and colors, ready to share over WhatsApp in a few taps. It is the thesis applied at the most fragile link in the chain: those without a marketing team now have on-brand material.

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't AI-generated imagery misrepresent the product?

That is exactly the risk governance addresses. The official product record is the contract for the image: it defines color, cut, fabric and what cannot be altered. The scene is generated; the product is not. And there is human review by authority level before publishing, on the same Autonomy Gradient standard that governs the AI Agents.

If the field seller generates imagery, do I lose control of the brand?

No, because they don't start from a blank canvas. Headquarters defines the scene library, the templates, the typography and the sign-off; the field picks from approved options. It is the same logic that distributes a pricing rule to thousands of buyers without handing them the ERP.

Does this replace the studio and campaign production?

No. The collection campaign stays in the studio, with art direction. What the platform covers is the volume the studio never reaches: the replenishment SKU, the item that arrived off-calendar, the specific context of a region or a customer, and the formats each channel demands of the same product.

How does this connect to the catalog we already have?

The image doesn't live on its own. It is born attached to the SKU in Product Catalog & MDM, with origin, version and derivations on record, and that is what makes it possible to regenerate a batch when the season changes, or to propagate a correction to every channel where that image appeared.
