Portals
B2B Portals
What the market calls a "customer portal" is, on the CWS Platform, a governance layer over the Core: the same operation, with price, credit and rules built in, exposed to whoever buys and whoever sells. It isn't just another B2B e-commerce; it's the negotiation table, digitized. The portal is built in the No-Code Storefront Builder (CMS Builder), with a single dynamic template and native SEO.
Two modes, the same governance
The B2B operation happens in two ways, and both run on the same Commerce Rules Engine rules. What changes is who's in front.
B2B Digital Selling
The buyer self-serves: finds, negotiates within the rules and closes with native credit. The routine order leaves the rep's desk.
See B2B Digital Selling →Assisted Selling
The rep's negotiation table, with the customer and the margin in plain sight. The rep stops taking orders and starts negotiating with governance.
See Assisted Selling →The operation profiles 6
CWS Platform does not sell an off-the-shelf portal: it generates the portal the operation needs, by configuration. So that this does not become a list of dozens of combinations, the offer is organised into operation profiles, and each one groups the real variations of a scenario a decision-maker recognises.
This is also the site's maturity map: 2 of the 6 profiles already have their own page. The others are described here and get a page as the content is ready.
B2B Digital Selling
Business-to-business buying portal with negotiable pricing and governance
The buyer arrives, negotiates and closes on the same terms they would get by phone, and every concession stays within the thresholds the company defined.
See B2B Digital Selling →Assisted Selling
Inside sales, digital counter and field selling, with or without a public portal
Some operations run entirely through the seller, with no portal open to the public. The seller is not one more channel on top of the platform, it is a mode of it.
See Assisted Selling →Complex Retail
Consumer selling with multiple warehouses, wholesale and retail together, and regional pricing
This is not generic consumer selling, it is the kind with business-to-business complexity underneath. For fixed pricing, single stock and a simple checkout there are cheaper options, and saying so is part of the positioning.
No dedicated page yetGoverned Marketplace
Marketplace with own and third-party stock in the same cart, and governed split
Governing sellers, stock and commission in an ecosystem where every transaction is traceable, with a configurable-criteria buy box and protection against negotiation leaving the platform.
No dedicated page yetApp and Field
Native app for field sellers and for operations with unstable connectivity
It is not the website resized. It is functional parity, with stock, price and thresholds holding in the seller's pocket, including where the signal drops.
No dedicated page yetAgribusiness
Barter, CIF and FOB, rural credit and split delivery by property
Negotiating in sacks of grain, running inverted CIF and FOB, and computing rural taxation inside price formation. Delivery splits by property, with freight and tax independent per fraction.

at Imdepa, through the self-service B2B portal: 153 customers activated in 3 years, without growing the team in the same proportion.
+10 points of margin
at Tracbel, on portal orders, with 100% of the portfolio available (about 131k SKUs).
Frequently asked questions
Which portal profiles does CWS Platform deliver?
Six, and they are a taxonomy rather than a product catalogue: B2B Digital Selling, Assisted Selling, Complex Retail, Governed Marketplace, App and Field, and Agribusiness. All of them come from the same dynamic template in the No-Code Storefront Builder (CMS Builder), by configuration, which is why the portal is an included product and not a separate project.
Does the portal replace my sales rep?
No. The portal exists in two modes on the same Core: B2B Digital Selling, where the buyer self-serves on routine orders, and Assisted Selling, the rep's negotiation table. Routine orders leave the rep's desk; complex negotiation stays with them, now with governance.
Why does B2B portal adoption usually fail, but not here?
Because the traditional portal is just one more interface for the buyer to memorize. On the CWS Platform, the Procurement Agent runs the semantic search, builds the cart and suggests the reorder: the buyer has a conversation instead of memorizing a screen. Removing friction changes buying behavior.
Can I have a self-service portal and assisted selling at the same time?
Yes, that's the default. Both modes run on the same Commerce Rules Engine rules, so price, credit and approval limits apply the same in self-service and at the rep's table, with no divergence between channels.
